Another Side of Appreciation

Appreciation comes in many forms and can be presented in many ways. People show their appreciation through words, works, and sometimes gifts. Other times appreciation is shown through emulation...which to some is the highest form of appreciation.

You may not be appreciated for all that you are. You may not be appreciated for all that you do. You may not receive appreciation from whom you believe you should. You may not even receive appreciation in a way that you'd like to or feel you should. Nevertheless, a person can only appreciate you for who you are in their life.

All you can do is be thankful for the blessings placed in your life...time, love, friendship, fellowship, health, and family. You can hope that others will appreciate all that you are and all that you do, but never expect to see it. Expectations, at times, lead to hurt and disappointment. Appreciate and love yourself...first. In spite of what you may never receive from others...love yourself first and always.

It's beautiful to be you...simply beautiful.
